Members are invited to speak to any member of the committee regarding
the running of the Club.
Opening-up working party
Please don’t forget to come and help out at the opening-up working party. The date is Sunday 27th March 2005. Starting time is 10:15.
Working Party Tasks
Putting out buoys: Simpler this year as there are orange buoys attached to each anchor
Starter’s hut: Roof needs a coat of bitumen and the door repairing
Galley: Cleaning of galley and main eating area and restocking of food
Ladies and Gents changing rooms: Floors extra cleaned and sanitary ware made to sparkle
Boat park: Some of the boats left over the winter need lifting back on to their trailers and the areas tidied and ready to receive boats from the next week
Garage: Equipment stored over winter to be replaced on the respective club boats
Club boats: Wayfarers, Picos and Challengers need power washing and readied for sailing
Picnic tables: If it’s a dry day then paint with preservative
Water and electrics: Switched on and checked everything is ok
Your committee would appreciate the assistance of more members on the day as the more helpers there are the earlier we can all get away.
