Boat security during the sailing season

If all goes to plan, from the start of the season, there will be a number of Land Anchors installed throughout the Boat Parking area.  Bring a length of chain, or old rigging wire, and a padlock to secure your boat to the nearest Anchor.  Please remember - don't leave paddles or other means of propulsion in your boat.  There are a number of shelves available still in the Sail Locker, if you want one - ask George Billington.

Hopefully this will stop the problems we experienced last year.

Holiday Week - Monday 21 August to Friday 25 August 2006

To try to gauge the response for our annual Holiday Week there will be a notice in the galley after we open up. If you want to attend all or some of the week and if you want to stay overnight, could you please indicate this on the form. The committee are happy to put on the event if there are enough interested members. Juniors under 16 need to be accompanied as on Sunday sailing. Members can either participate in the club’s programme (and if you have any ideas please put these on the form too) or you can free sail all week.

Please note that this is the only occasion that Welsh Water allows overnight camping and so if you have a tent or caravan you will be able to stay the week to get out early on the water.
